Studio Work

Sam Shaffery is a mandolin player from the North Fork of Long Island. He is formerly of the folk rock band "The Subterraneans" and released his third studio project “By The Light Of The Moon" on September 22nd, 2018. When performing at restaurants like Caci North Fork in Southold and First & South in Greenport, Sam plays soft blend of modern and traditional folk music, drawing influence from the jazz world. When performing in other incarnations such as Sam & Tom (a duet with his father on african drums) his music takes on a much more energetic feel.
